How The Edenvale Plumbers handles the details you send through this website, written to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What the form collects

Two things are required: a name and a phone number. The rest is up to you: an email address, the suburb, which job it is and a note about the fault. Nothing is collected unless you press the send button.

Why it is collected

Only to answer your request: to phone you back, confirm the visit fee, arrange a time and do the job. Your details are not sold, not rented out and not added to a mailing list.

Who sees it

The form is delivered as an email to the business through Resend, an email delivery service. The website runs on Cloudflare, whose servers keep short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site working and secure. This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking code.

How long it is kept

A request stays on file while the job, or something that comes out of it like an invoice query, still needs it. After that it is deleted.

Your rights

You can find out what the business holds on you, and have it fixed if it is wrong or removed altogether. Send the request through the call-out form, with the word "privacy" in the message. Unhappy with how a request was handled? The Information Regulator of South Africa takes complaints.
